In July, we worked with the lovely Patsy and Kahlen, designing all aspects of their reception, wedding breakfast and cocktail bar, in the super cool E1 Warehouse in Wapping, London.

For their utterly unique East London wedding, Head chef Rich met up with the couple and helped them to create the exact menu that they wanted. They had some rough ideas in mind, so we expanded, elaborated and guided the menu design in a way that really got across the feel for beautiful food from start to finish, in a relaxed warm and sociable scene. We always make sure that our clients are happy with every last detail, from the menu design and wording, to tasting sessions and wine pairings.

For the starter we went down a classic French and Italian route; cured meats, warm breads, paired with homemade English chutney. For the mains, think big, eastern Mediterranean flavours, seasoned with Persian spices and colour, served to the table, each with a dedicated ‘head of table’ to do the carving. Everyone got involved, it was a fantastic way to celebrate…friends and family all around the table serving and sharing. For the design of the room, we lead with beautiful exposed wood tables, jam jar flowers, fine cutlery, wine glasses and flutes. As part of what we offer, we make sure all aspects of the day are taken care of, right down to the final look and feel of the reception.

For this East London wedding, we did a unique table arrangement, along with a bar and ceilidh band setup. (Bring on the ceilidh dancing!). We split the big warehouse with a partition drape for the reception and wedding breakfast…. and opened it all up for the dancing later on! Following the big meal, we stirred up special cocktails and served beers and wine until the very last dance! We got in touch with Patsy and Kahlen recently to send them some anniversary flowers. They passed on these kind words about us….

“Hope that the business is going from strength to strength, it should based on your passion for what you do and the quality of the food you make. People still talk about the food at our wedding and your idea around the chef’s hats was genius too. Thanks again for making our day so great from that perspective, we need to set up another event so that we can have more of your food!”
