Over the past three years Cura has been fortunate enough to have worked with Matthew Clark on a series of prestigious events across London. For those of you not familiar with Matthew Clark (insert link) they are a large, renowned drinks distributor, supplying some of the country’s finest hotels, restaurants and bars with wines, beers and spirits. So it goes without saying that the events we do with them are always rather fun!

What’s great about these events is that each one has a different theme, so no two are the same. The organizers send us a brief outline of the event and it’s down to our chefs at Cura HQ to create a menu that is in keeping with the concept.

This summer, we were tasked with the Summer Social series taking place at The Cuckoo Club (link) in Piccadilly, a series of evening events showcasing the best new wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks from around the world. The most recent was an all-American themed evening – think rye whiskies, bourbons and American craft beer.

Of course, the Cura menu for that evening was no-less American! The guests were served mini pots of Monterey Jack mac & cheese, Bodeans pulled pork buns with Jack Daniels BBQ sauce, our very own ‘angry fries’ …. and to finish, mini American donuts with homemade salted caramel sauce! A clean eater’s dream!
